About The Role

You will run the payroll for our US-based team, our International team, and the W2 HCPs that are on our platform. Because you will be owning the payroll processing and assist in resolving payroll issues, you will also support the internal team and our HCP customers in achieving our company mission. 

As a Payroll Specialist, you will

  • Work with team members in support and Customer Success to ensure the best payroll experience for our Healthcare Professionals

  • Work with the entire HR and Legal team to ensure our internal team has the best payroll experience

  • Look for ways to streamline payroll processes and reduce payroll costs

  • Constantly audit my own work to ensure there are no mistakes and all personnel updates are correctly reflected in all payroll spreadsheets and platforms

  • Raise concerns immediately to my manager, even if concern falls outside of my typical domain

You will be responsible for 

  • Using discretion at all times since I handle such sensitive data

  • To be honest, even if I make a mistake since payroll mistakes can have costly results

  • Working well with people from all teams

  • Driving solutions and not being afraid to make suggestions to problems outside of my own domain

  • Owning the outcome and lessening the gap between my domains and the domains of others

Skills and Qualifications:

  •  At least 3 years of payroll processing experience 

  • Experience processing payroll for more than 50 people

  • Must have experience with calculating accruals, deductions, prorations, and formulaic bonuses

  • Must be comfortable with technology and working in a remote environment

  • Experience working for a remote company a plus

  • Experience working with Rippling or Deel a plus

  • Experience with implementing new payroll processes and auditing current payroll processes a plus

  • Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations a plus
